Earls Court is a district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in West London. It is famously the home of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, one of the country's biggest indoor arenas and a well-frequented concert venue.

For 500 yeas the Earls of Oxford, who has their court where Old Manor Yard is now, just bu the underground station, hence the name Earls Court, owned the land. The area used to be nicknames 'Danzing Corridor', after the amount of Polish emigrants who lived here after WW2.

During the 1960's this changed to 'Kangaroo Valley', due to the huge number of Australians who lived in the area. The changes in the 1980's due to rocketing house prices and gentrification of the area.

Famous residents of the area have included Diana Princess of Wales, Alfred Hitchcock, Gary Barlow and Howard Carter.
